“The UNHCR visited us to assist our situation but, unfortunately, there was no support. Even they know that our husbands are unable to work here in Jordan. Most of our hustbands and the children are sick. Sometimes we have no money to transport them to hospitals.” -An asylum seeker and young Darfuri Sudanese mother named Muna (pictured above protesting at Jordan’s UNHCR office) a few weeks before being forcefully ‪‎deported from Jordan back to the government her family had fled.
