Jaha Media is a collective of storytellers, freelance filmmakers, and community workers who want to help reshape the way you look at the Arab world with content that is centered around the personal journeys, experiences, and reflections of everyday people living throughout the region.

The meaning of 'Jaha'

Jaha is an event when representatives from one tribe/family meet with representatives of another tribe/family to settle differences, develop partnerships, and even to endorse and celebrate marriages.

As a digital storytelling platform, we want to bring to light the issues and fractions within society that need to be talked about. We also want to celebrate the beauty of life, relationship, and each other’s personal journeys-- hence the name "Jaha Media".
